Our 2026 Winter mat training is led by Ally Tomotsugu, who is a former athlete and an expert in leading trainings and workshops. She has extensive training in kinesiology and biomechanics.
As a retired athlete, Ally has always loved staying in motion. With a background in kinesiology Ally's teachings convey a deep understanding of biomechanics coupled with an embodied knowledge of a lifetime of practice. She is known for her detail and description, bringing your attention to the subtle ways in which we can engage and release our tissues. With extensive training in yoga, martial arts and pilates, Ally's trainings blend the art and science of movement for a truly unique educational experience.
